A BMW car soon to be released is the BMW i8, BMW i8 is a hybrid supercar with best features and hight future technology. BMW says this model is slightly newer than the one in Mission Impossible 4, and that the hybrid drivetrain is good to hit 60mph in around 4.6 seconds while still getting 78mpg.
Obviously those numbers are a bit hypothetical until a real i8 arrives on dealer lots, but even getting in the range would be impressive. Then again, with an estimated list price of something like $150,000
BMW's i-series is the automaker's attempt at combining performance and efficiency. Two hybrid vehicles - the compact
BMW i3 and the sporty i8 - have been teased in the run-up to the New York International Auto Show next week. Though still in the
concept phase, BMW is intent on having the i8 production-
ready soon.
